I'm sure it was mostly silent and thankless, and perhaps I should have commented more while you were still updating, but I was too awestruck staring at the pretty pictures to be able to form any sort of meaningless comment. Thank-you for keeping this site alive as long as you did!
I'm actually an artist myself and most likely you might have seen my work as the artist who did the graphics for the WiiWare and iPhone versions of the game Defend Your Castle. I know I certainly was frequenting this site a lot while I worked on that game, so in a small way you contributed to a game that tens of thousands of people have played.
Also, I was always pleased to see Sam Weber featured on this site since I used to see him around quite often when I was in school. He was a grade older than me and we weren't particularly acquainted, but we were both students at the same high-school and he spent a lot of time in the same studio as I did. He has gone on to do exceptionally well for himself and I'm sure it's just the beginning of his long, illustrious and successful career!

You were one of the originals when I used to search for art sites. Is this a financial decision? If so, have you thought about google adsense? Looks like you get enough traffic to do fairly well and I think google would let it fly. Anyway, congratulations on your site, it is very difficult to keep things like this going. I wish you luck.
